Financial Controller

 

Our fast growing firm here in Beijing is currently in search of a dedicated Financial Controller! We’re looking for someone who is interested in undertaking the critical role of managing the financial aspects of our firm.

You will oversee cash flowing in and out of the business, both from our USD and RMB accounts. You will help guide important decisions through your big-picture thinking and obsession to detail.

Reports to:  Office Administrator

Working Hours: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday through Friday (plus a company all-hands meeting at 8am of the second Tuesday each month; adjusted working hours may apply).

Responsibilities

  • Weekly and monthly reconciliation of financial accounts;

  • Firm - Bank relationship management;

  • Cost audits;

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable;

  • Payroll runs for our U.S. and Chinese employees;

  • Deliver financial statements (both USD and RMB);

  • Manage fapiaos;

  • Revenue reconciliation;

  • Manage and comply with government (law) reporting requirements and tax filings;

  • Additional controller responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting;

  • 2-5 years of work experience, either in-house or at a Big 4-type consultancy;

  • Lived and/or studied in both China and in an English-speaking country;

  • Has worked with Xero or Quickbooks;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Responsible and responsive;

  • Detail-oriented, punctual and justify quality deliverables.
