Digital Content Strategist

Cadence Translate’s marketing department is seeking a digital content strategist to oversee the creation and implementation of the company’s digital content marketing plan.

We're a leading investment advisory language services firm. Through professional interpretation, translation, and transcription, we enable our clients to unlock better business insights at every stage of the investment cycle across the language barrier. Our main office is located in the downtown CBD district in Beijing, China. Our full-time employee cohort represents over 10 nationalities, and our linguist community includes over 2,500 freelancers that speak 25+ languages based around the globe.

Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Research and write weekly blog and social media posts;

  • Assist in the hiring of and manage a team of writers;

  • Edit all written content to maintain consistency of brand message and SEO standards;

  • Work closely with management team to develop and execute a content creation and distribution plan;

  • Ensure all messaging across digital channels, including website, blog, social, email, etc., is consistent and complete;

  • Use data-driven tactics to continually improve and evolve content subject matter and distribution strategy based on content performance.

Ideal candidates will:

  • 2+ years experience in digital marketing (ideally content marketing);

  • Be able to write natively in (American) English;

  • Have experience writing blog and long-form content in a B2B finance or marketing setting (content strategy experience a big plus);

  • Have a strong grasp of social media marketing and effective content promotion tactics;

  • Have professional exposure to, or a strong interest in, the investment and finance industries;

  • Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable, start-up work environment;

  • Be a highly organized self-starter that can demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness;

  • Be based in Beijing.
