Administrative Assistant

Cadence Translate is seeking an administrative assistant to support daily office operations.

We're a leading investment advisory language services firm. Through professional interpretation, translation, and transcription, we enable our clients to unlock better business insights at every stage of the investment cycle across the language barrier. Our main office is located in the downtown CBD district in Beijing, China. Our full-time employee cohort represents over 10 nationalities, and our linguist community includes over 2,500 freelancers that speak 25+ languages based around the globe.

Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full logistical support, including (but not limited to): office supply management, organizing internal meetings and events, working with travel agencies to coordinate flights and hotel bookings, delivery and receipt of express shipping, etc.;

  • Oversee the application process for various employee benefits, including social security, insurance, working visas, etc.

  • Provide basic tech and organizational support internal events and meetings;

  • Maintain relationships with various vendors as well as evaluate potential new vendors.

Ideal qualifications:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English;

  • 1+ years of administrative work experience;

  • Experience working with digital automation tools, e.g. Salesforce;

  • Prior experience processing employee applications for Chinese social security;

  • Strong inter-departmental and vendor communication skills; 

  • Detail-oriented, punctual, responsive, and generally responsible;

  • Knowledge of office systems and software, e.g. Microsoft Office, Gmail, etc.

  • A strong desire to learn and help others.
