Our Mission
Talk business, anywhere
About Us
Business and translation are in our DNA. Our co-founders have years of experience in management consulting and private equity as well as simultaneous, i.e. UN-style, interpretation. Despite their divergent professional backgrounds, they felt the same way about the translation industry: that it was antiquated, inaccessible, and inconvenient.
Thus, Cadence Translate was founded in 2014 with a unique goal in mind: enable better business by connecting the private sector with world-class translators.
Our Linguist Community
At Cadence, we’re passionate about helping our clients unlock international business insights by providing the perfect linguist match for every project. After attending hundreds of interpreted meetings (and staffing 10,000+ in Cadence’s lifetime!), we’re convinced that professionals are the way to go. Our community has grown to over 2,500 strong, and they’re based in dozens of countries all around the world.
It’s worth mentioning that the linguists we find aren’t just really, really good at translating (they are); they’re also personable, friendly people who actively facilitate meetings and calls. Nothing brings us greater satisfaction than knowing that our translators were able to extract additional value from an interaction that a layman could not.
By providing this unique level of accessibility to world-class linguists, we believe we can make a lasting impact on the quality of international business decisions and interactions.
Who We Serve
We strive to be the language solution that solves any language problem whenever and wherever business is being done, whether it’s a due diligence call for a hedge fund purchasing stakes in a Brazilian mining company, an M&A meeting between a US private equity firm and a French petrochemical startup, or even just a transcription of a call on the future of the German auto industry in China.
Wells Fargo
Facilitated an in-person multilingual commodities market research meeting with an overseas consultancy.
